The 2000 Brut Dom Pérignon is a beautiful, seductive wine that floats on the palate with remarkable grace. Toasty aromas meld with fresh-cut flowers, apricots and pears, and sweet notes of mint and licorice that linger on the long finish. This fragrant and inviting Dom Perignon embodies elegance at its purest and fully earns its high reputation in this vintage. According to winemaker Vincent Chaperone, there is only one disgorgement date for the first release of Dom Pérignon, and the 2000 was disgorged over several weeks in March and April 2007.

Champagne, also known as the Champagne region, is one of the world's most renowned wine-growing areas and is located in the north-east of France. It has gained its reputation through the production of excellent champagne - a bubbly drink prized for its elegance, quality and sophistication. Champagne is famous as the birthplace of champagne and owes its reputation to a long tradition of winemaking dating back to the 17th century.

Another important factor is the terroir: the growing region has a unique terrain with calcareous soils and a cool and temperate climate. These conditions are ideal for the cultivation of three main grape varieties - Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier - which are used to produce Champagne.
