Not least with the Burgundy varieties, Caroline Diel has succeeded her father Armin in establishing a new style at Diel. The wines are drier, more elegant and of an international format, influenced by the Burgundian models. In recent years, it was thought that Armin Diel had set quality standards with his wines, and not just on the Nahe, so his daughter deserves all the more credit for having managed to refine this wine style even further.
