2018 Cuvée Malbec Bordeaux Supérior AOC

Pierrail's Cuvée Malbec is certainly something out of the ordinary for a Bordeaux, 1005 Malbec, you don't find that every day. And so this wine also has a unique selling point, it is spicier than classic Bordeaux, has more dark berry fruit and some leather on the nose, plus the warm, lush aromas from the wood aging. It is this warm oppulence that clearly distinguishes it from its usually more angular Cahor brethren. Perfect companion to strong, full-spicy braised dishes.
