Not least with the Burgundy varieties, Caroline Diel, as successor to her father Armin, has established a new style in the Diel house. The wines are drier, more elegant and of international stature, influenced by the Burgundian models. If one thought in recent years that Armin Diel had set quality standards with his wines, not only on the Nahe, one must give his daughter all the more credit for having managed to refine this wine style even further.
