Somewhat vegetal apple-citrus nose. Lean, cool, rather citrus fruit, again vegetal notes, lively acidity, some freshness, decent to good finish.
Site: Only the ripe and healthy grapes from selected sites of our vineyards on the Hessische Bergstrasse have been selected by our master winemaker for the Pinot Blanc.

The history of Weingut Kloster Eberbach goes back just as far as the history of the cultural monument itself: Even for the French monks who settled in the Rheingau at the beginning of the 12th century, winegrowing was one of their main occupations. What was initially intended for their own consumption soon developed into a sought-after commodity that secured the future and prosperity of the monastery.
