2016 Espérance de Trotanoy

Château Trotanoy has been considered one of the premier crus of Pomerol since the 18th century. Since 2009, a selection of gravel-based plots in the north-eastern part of the estate has been dedicated to Espérance de Trotanoy, a wine that is fruit-driven and accessible after just a few years of ageing, but retains the depth, complexity and incredible concentration of flavor that are so characteristic of Trotanoy's unique terroir. The Trotanoy vineyard is located in one of the best exposed sites on the plateau and was partially spared the dramatic frosts of 1956.
