2018 La Joie Magnum

Composed of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot and 3% Malbec, the 2018 La Joie displays an opaque purple-black color that slowly unfolds to offer deep notes of crème de cassis, preserved plums and boysenberries with hints of rare beef, pencil lead, black olives and lilac, as well as hints of fertile loam and crushed rock. The medium-bodied palate has stunning elegance and balance, with a solid backbone of firm, very fine-grained tannins and a bold freshness that supports the intense mineral layers of the black fruits, and a long finish with plenty of spicy and floral notes. Simply stunning!
