2021 Nardo IGT Toscana

Delicate and perfumed with cherries and wild berries and strawberries. Hints of coffee. Medium-bodied with crisp fruit and fine tannins that give it a silky texture and nice length. Fruits with earth and spices. Some raw meat. Enticing now, but will be even better in two or three years. The Sangiovese was fermented with whole berries and whole clusters. Precise. A blend of 75% Sangiovese, 15% Malvasia Nera, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink or cellar. [James Suckling]
