In the nose very fine exotic note of mango and grapefruit, some peach. On the palate, a full-bodied fleshy fruit with a lively acidity and a nice juiciness. Long, mineral-tinged finish. A silky, fruity Pinot that smells intensely of red berries, rose hips and aromatic spices. It is velvety, soft and yet very fresh with a crystalline acidity that suits it very well.
Food pairing: To emphasize the freshness of the Pinot, it is recommended to combine it with pink roasted meat of beef or duck, risotto with porcini mushrooms and morels. Serve with pleasure a little chilled.

The roots of the Zöhrer winery and family go back 750 years to the time of the Babenbergs.
We work consistently to exploit the potential of the great vineyards, which are among the most important in the Krems Valley. For it is there, in the terroir of the vineyards, that the strength of the Zöhrer winery lies. Most of the vines were planted by the grandfather and father 40 to 100 or more years ago. The focus is on the varieties Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The wines have an unmistakable profile, are characterized by their origin and enjoy international appreciation.
