Around 100 steps lead to our two plots, which are worked exclusively by hand, on a steep, west-facing rock face that looks directly onto the Danube. Cool mornings and hot afternoons, together with the extremely hard gneiss soil, create a tension that the wine can hold for many years. Enormously concentrated and mineral, it brings a stone fruit fruit and a length that is incomparable.
