The Frühburgunder is one of the oldest cultivated grapes and lives up to its name. Somewhat more precocious than other Burgundy varieties, it is harvested by us almost 2 weeks before the harvest begins. Our Frühburgunder convinces with fine spicy aromas of blackberry, cassis and coffee. In addition, there are fine cherry and raspberry notes that perfectly round off the taste.

Since 1881, the J.Neus winery has stood for Pinot Noir tradition in the red wine town of Ingelheim am Rhein. Back then, founder Josef Neus Senior laid the foundation for our self-imposed goal, Pinot Noir at the highest level level. Today, these old vines, well-maintained wooden barrels and in-depth knowledge of the chalky vineyards in the district form the solid basis for meeting the standards we have set ourselves.
