In the white MO the typical grape varieties of my homeland play the leading role: Grüner Veltliner As a base, joined by Riesling and Müller-Thurgau. Without much frills, the wine offers clear citrus fruit, is light on its feet and simply wonderful to drink. Always and everywhere. Bottling: beginning of Ausgust 2021.

I am Martin Obenaus from Glaubendorf in the Weinviertel. I love cultivating my vineyards and interacting with the living creatures in the surrounding area. My credo is "Unchained" - my goal is for my biodynamically cultivated vineyards to become an ecosystem in which intervention is less and less necessary. I protect and support nature, I let it take its course, I throw off its chains. If you look at hunting, it intervenes in the environment in a similar way to viticulture. It might seem unusual to work towards a development that makes the hunter dispensable and "unchains" nature in this respect. Perhaps just as unusual as returning to the way our ancestors worked in the vineyard. I have walked this path and I know that it will never end. The ecosystem changes year after year - but we change too...
