Very ripe, with raisins and dried fruit on the nose. You can smell the sun-dried grapes. Full-bodied, with firm tannins and a very fresh palate. Long and flavorful, with currants, berries and all kinds of dark fruits, but also slightly earthy and floral. This is a thoroughly complex wine. It is just beginning to evolve into the ripe 20-year-old wine it is, but it has a great life ahead of it. Muscular.
