2013 Caiarossa Toscana Rosso IGT

This is a beautiful blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Syrah, Sangiovese, Petit Verdot and Alicante. The 2013 Caiarossa impresses with a soft, velvety mouthfeel and a beautiful aromatic intensity. This vintage is complete and generous on all fronts. The bouquet opens slowly and seductively with dark fruits and dried cherries. These primary aromas segue into spice, smoked cedar and dark chocolate. You don't get a clear impression of a particular variety, but this seven-grape blend still offers power, structure, intensity and textural richness.
