Medium garnet-purple in color, the 2015 Grandes Murailles shows aromas of sautéed herbs, plowed earth and mossy bark on the nose over a core of warm red and black cherries and a hint of pencil lead. The palate is full-bodied, firm and chewy, with plenty of earthy expression and good length.
