Raison d'Hêtre, the second wine, is also a blend of 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc, but from the young vines and from the clay-limestone plots on the lower slopes. It has a beautiful dark purple color, is round and fresh with aromas of red fruits. Its taste is lively and spicy with an attractive fruit/tannin balance.
