This vision is built around three distinct wines. Together, these three wines tell the story of what is widely recognized as one of the best wines in the world. Therefore, Vérité is released in assorted cases of one bottle each: la Muse, la Joie and le Désir.

Each wine is a blend of different "micro cru" sourced only from mountain vineyards in the best locations of Sonoma Valley, representing the best that can be produced in this region. A true "Californian 1st growth."

"Vérité La Muse 2018"

The 2018 La Muse is a blend of 90% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 4% Malbec and aged for 16 months in 100% new French oak barrels. Medium to deep garnet-purple in color, it exudes a bold nose of cherry pie, blackberry jam and baked plums, followed by hints of red roses, cast-iron skillets, scrub and unsmoked cigars, as well as hints of licorice and oolong tea. Medium to full-bodied, the black fruits and exotic spice layers flow so gracefully across the palate, structured by soft tannins and with seamless freshness, ending epically long and beguilingly fragrant. The intensity and complexity of the aromas and flavors woven together in captivating harmony can only make your mouth water. Electrifying!"

"Vérité La Joie 2018"

"The 2018 La Joie, which is 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot, and 3% Malbec, displays an opaque purple-black color, that slowly unfolds to offer deep notes of crème de cassis, pickled plums and boysenberries with hints of rare beef, pencil lead, black olives and lilac, as well as hints of fertile loam and crushed stones. The medium-bodied palate has stunning elegance and balance, with a solid backbone of firm, very fine-grained tannins and a bold freshness that supports the intense mineral layers of the black fruits, and a long finish with plenty of spicy and floral notes. Simply stunning!"

"Consisting of 82% Cabernet Franc, 12% Merlot and 6% Malbec, the 2018 Le Désir was aged for 16 months in 100% new French oak

Deep garnet-purple in color, it is a bit closed at first, but soon reveals hints of cherry, raspberry jam and mulberry scents, as well as hints of cedar, crushed stones, bay leaves, Szechuan pepper and lavender with a touch of sandalwood. The palate is medium to full-bodied, with plenty of freshness to support the melange of pickled red and black fruits, structured by grainy tannins and with a lingering peppery kick on the finish. It may need a bit more time than the La Joie and La Muse, but I suspect this beauty will reward patience.
