2018 Canon la Gaffeliere

Seductively sensual red berry fruit aromas rise from the glass. Blackcurrant, strawberry, cherry and hints of blackberry and plum. There is simply an enormous amount of freshness in these 18 Bordeaux wines. There is an almost minty, ethereal cool aroma, but at the same time a lot of ripe fruit. It is simply so much fun to taste these wines. On the palate, it is dense and juicy with very ripe fruit and a huge amount of pressure. The structure is incredibly finely structured and you have the feeling that you can drink the wine straight away. The energy in this vintage is simply incredibly fascinating and enjoyable.
