2018 Pichon Baron

As always, it smells somewhat riper, sweeter, more opulent than its neighbors, but there is also a lot of freshness, depth and complexity here, which also hints at a very great, noble Pauillac. On the palate, it is surprisingly somewhat slimmer, especially than the monumental Lynch-Bages that I tasted just before, it also has a very slightly tomboyish touch, but in a positive sense, the wine has class and surprisingly lives from its elegance.
