In a blind tasting, it could easily be mistaken for a top 1 cru wine from Beaune in Burgundy! Exuberant cherry fruit that is hard to resist. Amazing balance of concentrated fruit, very fine tannins and restrained richness. This is followed by a silky finish with underlying power that will tempt you to drink more of this Alsatian Pinot elixir. 50% whole bunches, then two years in barrel with 25% new oak.
