2022 Côtes du Rhône Beatus Ille

Winemaker Isabel Ferrando, known for her Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines, has aged this unique Côtes du Rhône entirely in concrete. This biodynamic wine is primarily Grenache with about 15% Cinsault and a tiny dash of Syrah from Châteauneuf-du-Pape. It is fresh and juicy with notes of raspberries, cherries, blood orange and pepper. "Beatus ille" is a Latin phrase meaning "happy is the man" ... or the woman who drinks Côtes du Rhône.
