The Erdener prälat is the flagship of Andreas Schmitges. Grown on heat-retaining slate soils on the most extreme steep slopes, this wine shows all the facets of a first-class Riesling. Great, intense fruit, peach and hay flowers, racy acidity, wonderfully dense and yet elegant.
