Pinot Blanc is a very complex wine with a light, cool nose and slightly nutty with a fine citrus note due to the wood. In the mouth, the wine is still very closed, with slightly smoky notes and fine wood. It is both dense and powerful, but still elegant and fresh thanks to the acidity. The finish is fruity, still somewhat yeasty with yellow fruit and delicate phenolics. The soil in LANGENMORGEN, a mixture of limestone, loam, marly clay and occasionally limestone rubble, produces full-bodied wines that are very storable. Particularly suitable for Burgundy grapes such as Pinot Blanc! A perfect accompaniment to food, which only reveals its full potential after 5-10 years of ageing.
